Our prices

Our prices are very competitive! We always strive to offer you the best possible price, and the highest quality of workmanship. We price our jobs differently depending on what type of job it is.

We do not charge for quotes!

Planned work

Small simple jobs such as changing an outside light, replacing a broken socket or swapping a light switch are quoted on a fixed price basis. That means you will pay the price we quote, no matter how long the job takes. The price will include labour and materials so you can be sure of the cost.

For larger or more complex jobs such as consumer unit changes, rewires, installing power to a garage etc. we provide an estimate. We do everything in our power to stay at or under estimate but sometimes due to factors beyond our control the price may end up being higher than estimated. We will always try to make you aware of this as soon as practical.

For planned jobs a guide price for labour is £35 an hour. We offer a discounted rate of £200 a day for labour on jobs taking a full day or more. We may lower this for large jobs, ask us and we can see what we can do.

Emergency call outs

For unplanned work (emergency callouts) the price will vary depending on the time you call.
The attendance fee always includes the first hour of work. These prices do not include materials.

During working hours (Monday-Friday 9-5)

Attendance fee: £50
After 1^st hour: £35/hr

Out of hours (Monday-Friday)

Attendance fee: £75
After 1^st hour: £50/hr

Weekends & holidays

Attendance fee: £100
After 1^st hour: £70/hr

For most jobs we will issue an invoice after work is complete, for both the material cost and the labour cost which is to be paid in full within 7 days of the date of issue of the invoice. We prefer to take payment by bank transfer to the details on the invoice. Invoices can also be paid in cash upon completion of the job. For some very large jobs we may take payment for materials up front, this is not refundable. Labour costs are to be paid on completion of the job, unless agreed otherwise.

For PAT testing we charge a flat rate of £40 for up to 25 appliances, £1.50 per appliance for the next 25 and £1 for every appliance after that. This price does not include repair work for any appliances that fail the test.
